‍Our wedding will take place at Camp Hale, a historic military training camp nestled in the Eagle River Valley, approximately 30 minutes from Vail, Colorado.

Surrounded by the White River National Forest, Camp Hale was once home to more than 15,000 soldiers training with the 10th Mountain Division during World War II. After the war, many of these soldiers helped shape Colorado’s ski industry.

A special connection for us: Ira currently serves in the 10th Mountain Division, making Camp Hale an especially meaningful place to celebrate our wedding!

Camp Hale is a peaceful, remote mountain venue where you'll spend the evening immersed in Colorado's natural beauty. Expect a relaxed outdoor atmosphere with open meadows, fresh mountain air, and breathtaking alpine scenery.

The venue features natural terrain, including grass, gravel paths, and a wooden bridge. Comfortable footwear is recommended, especially for guests wearing heels.

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour are held outdoors.

Dinner and dancing will be held in a tented reception space overlooking the mountains.

Early July in the Colorado Rockies is beautiful but can be unpredictable.

Expect sunny days with temperatures in the 70s and 80s, while evenings often cool into the 50s. We recommend dressing in layers, bringing sunglasses and sunscreen, and keeping a light jacket handy for the evening.

Garden Formal attire is requested. We’d love to see colorful, festive attire inspired by the Colorado mountains.

We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing white and ivory.

Ladies: Floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy separates are all welcome.

Since portions of the celebration take place outdoors on natural terrain, we recommend block heels, wedges, or other comfortable shoes.

Gentlemen: Suits or dress jackets with ties are requested.

Evenings can become chilly, so bringing a light jacket or wrap is encouraged.

Yes! Complimentary shuttle service will be available between our hotel block in Vail and Camp Hale before and after the wedding.

Guests are welcome to drive and park at the venue if preferred. Please note that the drive follows a winding mountain road, and the return trip will be after dark. If you plan to enjoy a few drinks or simply prefer not to drive, we encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle.

Yes. Complimentary parking will be available at Camp Hale. Please allow extra travel time and drive carefully, as the final stretch follows a winding mountain road.

We recommend arriving at Camp Hale 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking or shuttle drop-off and to find your seat.

Cell service at Camp Hale is limited.

If you'll be driving to the venue, we recommend downloading offline maps before your trip. Once you arrive, consider it the perfect excuse to unplug, be present, and enjoy the evening.

Yes. While we love your little ones, we’ve chosen to make our wedding an adult-only celebration. Thank you for your understanding!
